Antonia Lofaso

Antonia's Lofaso invites you to explore her inner world through her cuisine. Her food stirs curiosity. It was born when she left the Long Island suburbs and entered the culturally rich scene that is Los Angeles. She believes that cavatelli and carnitas can co-exist seamlessly on the same menu portrays a style that is constantly evolving. The only thing that remains is her unique idea of the future and still wishing to reminisce about the previous. Inspired by her Italian-American heritage Lofaso established Scopa Italian Roots in 2013 which was immediately well received. Lofaso has been praised for her unique interpretation of Italian cuisine. Customers describe Scopa as an essential neighborhood staple where Lofaso consistently serves food that is inviting delicious and unquestionably satisfying. Lofaso learned from culinary giants with sophisticated cooking techniques. But, she didn't hesitate to take extreme risk to follow her own instincts. After quickly rising up the ranks and transforming several Los Angeles high-profile restaurants while being in contact with celebrities. Lofaso established Black Market Liquor Bar with Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi in Studio City, California. Her home was within Black Market Liquor Bar and her business alliances. Lofaso was able to enjoy the freedom to create the work she longed for through this partnership. Black Market has no one direction in mind and it is that way. One course may begin with potatoes chips, peppers and some dill. This could be followed by Korean wings and meatballs. What binds this diverse variety of tastes is Antonia. Lofaso assesses the success she has had over the course of her career based on her ability to know her audience and be authentic to who she is. Alongside her unforgettable performances of Top Chef Chicago and Top Chef: All Stars, her individuality was also recognized in other areas, beyond the kitchen. Today she continues to impress on the screen in her role as an CNBC judge and recurring role in the Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child. Lofaso joined forces with Penguin in 2012 to release The Busy Mom's Cookbook 100 recipes for Delicious home-cooked Meals. The book tells her story about her struggles going to an institution called the French Culinary Institute and raising her daughter Xea. Lofaso insists that the source of source of all her accomplishments is her kitchen. In this way, she is always on pulse. She is transforming the aesthetic by redesigning chef wear with a focus on style and function with her own brand Chefletics. Lofaso believes that sticking to your vision is important. To accomplish this goal, she created Antonia Lofaso Catering. It allows customers to enjoy the most personal experience.
